SEACURE 1st General Assembly: Advancing sustainable nutrient management strategies in the Mediterranean Basin

On March 27th and 28th, the SEACURE consortium met in Brussels, Belgium, for its first General Assembly, marking a key step forward in accelerating effective strategies to combat nutrient pollution in the Mediterranean. The event brought together all 25 partners to share initial progress, set priorities and work together to drive our mission forward. During the first day of the meeting, project partners assessed initial progress, exchanged updates on demo site solutions, and discussed next steps and bottlenecks for a coordinated approach. A new Horizon Europe project is born: welcome to SEACURE

The SEACURE project, funded by the Horizon Europe program and launched under the EU Missions ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ and ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters’ officially started in October 2024 with the Kick-off Meeting held in Vic, involving 25 partners from 5 European countries, thrilled to roll out two days of face-to-face exchanges on nutrient management and innovative solutions to tackle nutrient pollution.
